Halal Certification Services GmbH (HCS Switzerland), a globally recognized halal certification body, is proud to announce its official accreditation by Indonesia's Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH), securing its position as an authorized halal certifier for key product categories ahead of Indonesia's October 2026 deadline for mandatory halal certification.

HCS Switzerland's accreditation journey began in March 2024, followed by an initial assessment visit in June 2024 and the signing of a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with BPJPH in October 2024. Over the subsequent months, HCS diligently addressed non-conformities and met BPJPH's stringent requirements, culminating in the successful completion of the accreditation process in June 2025.

With this recognition, HCS is now authorized to certify:

• Cosmetics

This accreditation ensures that Swiss manufacturers relying on HCS certification can continue exporting to Indonesia without disruption, even after BPJPH's October 2026 enforcement deadline.
