Rheinfelden, Switzerland / Rabat, Morocco – 09/10/2025 – In a significant move to boost international trade and strengthen consumer confidence, Halal Certification Services (HCS Switzerland) and the Moroccan Institute for Standardization (IMANOR) have officially signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). This landmark agreement, effective immediately, will remain in force until the end of 2027.
The agreement establishes a formal framework of cooperation and trust between the two esteemed bodies. It signifies that the halal certificates issued for food and cosmetic products schemes certified by HCS Switzerland are recognized as equivalent to those of IMANOR, and vice-versa.
